History: This video came about when a student named Raza filmed him self reenacting Star Wars light saber scenes in 2002. He recorded these scenes using the schools filming studio and equipment. Little did he know, he accidentally recorded over one of the schools basketball games. This reading was from an article in The New York Times called "Becoming Screen Literate" . It talks about how videos are everywhere from the internet to ATM machines. This is because there is software that make it simple for anyone who owns a computer or a smartphone to make a video. The shift from story telling to videos was not as quick as one may think. People used to rely on there family to tell them their peoples history, and they would believe them because they had nothing to prove them wrong. When writing came about people took what was written as truth, and had to research anything someone told them to make sure it was true. You've Been Rick Roll'd

Rick rolling was a popular prank when the internet first came out. The sender would say a link would go somewhere and when the receiver clicked on the link it would take them to a music video (titled Rick Roll), not the link that was mentioned. I wanted to see if people still got entertainment out of this, so I decided to put it to the test. I sent my parents an email saying that the team had some new gear that they could order. I put a hyperlink to the Rick Roll video in the email, so when they clicked on the link it would take them to the video and not the gear. My mom texted me back very confused.
