Personal Brand

To develop your personal brand you have to think of yourself as a product. What makes you stand out versus everyone else? People usually do no take the time to think, research, and develop a personal brand; they normally just say "here I am world." Here are six steps that will help you develop your personal brand:

  1. Define your over all aspirations: What do you want to do/be in life? I want to be a morning radio show host.
  2. Conduct research: How are the people who are where you want to be developing their personal brand? Ryan Secrest has been developing his personal brand for many years, by revamping his image and look throughout the years.
  3. Determine your personal brand attributes: What do you want your personal brand to say? That you are funny, serious, calming, crazy, ect.?
  4. Access your current state: How do people see you? What do you need to do to make them see what you want them to see?
  5. Create your game plan: You need to create a plan on how you want to be seen in person and on social media. You also need to make sure that what you will post, is in the same realm that you are conveying in person.
  6. Manage your brand: Be sure your brand is up to date, and that you are consistent with your social media and how you are perceived in person. Be sure you are reenforcing your brand, and keep marketing to your market niche.
